normal esl auto challenger matches are on monday nights and kgl games tend to be on sunday while they run their cups on wednesday nights, so realistically tuesday and thursday are probably the best

It depends on the format. is it one game a week or 2? if 1 i think it should be at 9 simply because most teams start at 8 and it gives them time to warmup (better games)

Just a single game each week at the set time, in a season (groups) format.

Kgl season Sundays at 9, esl mondays, edcssl Tuesdays at 9. Just think Thursdays wud be ideal to run your season.

I would say Mondays/Wednesdays 8pm/9pm.
Since the UNGL cups are usually played Tuesdays and Thursdays.

We'd simply just re-arrange the games to say tues/weds if it was on thurs, and then keep it the same if it was on a weds :)

Should set a range of dates, allowing the teams to say play their games from Tuesday - Thursday.

9 PM UK time on a schoolnight is way too late for people in scandinavia and eastern europe, they should ideally be played at 6/7/8 UK time :)

6 may be a little bit too early, I admit it. However I don't understand how 7/8 could be that much of a problem, I mean most people work what, 8/9-5? That gives them more than one hour to get home, settle in and play a game.

And since this isn't just a British site you'll have to understand that you're not the only ones here, that you can't just make the times around your timezone.
I'm not saying that you should only listen to the "international" players, but it seems most fair to schedule the games to 7/8 UK time. These are just my two cents :)

I think we're most likely to go with the Winter Season for Jan-Feb if i'm honest, but if it comes out sooner it'd be Oct-Nov for Autumn Season - but Winter Season is the more likely target.

Either wednesday/thursday seems fine to me, preferably 9pm (GMT ofc) :)

No way, STV can be too unreliable and all the hassle of uploading would just slow everything down

Most teams ask for the STV anyway on UNGL, and they'd have a 3 day window in which to upload it. It also stops teams from trying to match fix.

What about cups though? Can you imagine how many games will over run just because one poor sod with a crap upload holds up the next game?

I tried the beta and I just didn't feel it, it was enjoyable at times, but I don't think the main BF series is for me. Enjoyed both Bad Company games though.

Modern Warfare 3 I will likely play just to continue on the story of things, but I don't really like CODs spray and perk loving multiplayer.

However, I can't say I'm looking forward to either of them.

In my opinion, evenough i'm not playing atm but will start again soon, I would like to see the season system used a lot more and spread the cups out a bit. Could even emulate champions league (group stage onto knock out) i duno if thats what your doing, but the season system seems a lot more fun and probably better for the admins to run as well.

By using the current season system we can do the 4 seasons with a month gap between each one, and then do cups in the gaps. Note that during the seasons we didn't really do a cup purely because it's just to much to do adminwise - and we've still got normal fixtures to look at in addition to normal things.

We do have the ability to do the world cup style of groups followed by knockout, which is currently what the $1000 HoN Nations Cup is doing.

Depends on the quality of the server for a start. Need a stable server that you can rely on to feed sourceTV to the 9million UNGL players (derp). Need the server to have a nice ping for everyone really? gives either team a more balanced chance to win the game and not have an excuse at the end. I could dribble on some more but it's too early :(

I think it should be played on a UNGL server. I also think the semi's should be played on a UNGL server. Only because it will get unbias adminning in terms of lo3 and waiting for everyone to be ready. Banter can be kept to a minimum and cheating is less likely to happen, especially with an admin present.

Dogs are far superior to Cats. Dogs are more social, more playful and you actually get companionship from a Dog. Where as with Cats, all they do is sleep, eat and bring you small birds from outside, maybe occasionally a Squirrel or a Rabbit depending on where you live.

in answer to the updated question. what draws me to this league is the overall quality of the community. as well as being home to some good teams. however i feel some others may be drawn more to esl as it is the largest league and home to the most professional teams. as well as being able to offer prizemoney (in some cases eventually) and offering teams the chance to play the best with competitions similar to the ESL Master Series.
