hello,

today I've receive my new computer. then I've installed counter strike source but the 120hz (samsung r2233rz 120hz) doesn't work :(. My drivers are updates and I've put -refresh 120 In my game option. Please if somebody can help me.

theres that possibility that u screen ain't capable of 120hz on that resolution what you are playing on. And i have read that all 120hz aren't actually 120hz capable they stick on 100/110 or maybe less...

Considering its one of the most popular 120hz monitor, yes, yes it can.

Could be your GFX card isn't capable of reason 120hz. Also try posting on Cadred as

You might wnna mess around with the buttons on your screen (since u probbably need to enalble game or 120hz mode there)

Back in white house, If 120hz Doesnt work. We simply use 60hz Due to human eyes not registering more then 60Hz anyway.

Hopefully this helped my fellow citizen.

but you need 120hz for 3d gaming , when i set my monitor to 120hz it caps my css frames to 120 also.

There's a noticable difference between 60Hz and 120Hz monitors.

Unless you're trying to play CS:S in 3D - turning off vsync should stop the fps from capping at 120.

css is unplayable in 3d (for me anyways :P) ive never had vsync enable on any game but it still does it :/
