Looking to get a new headset soon, budget is £80 max.

I've currently got a Sound Blaster Arena

And they're great and all, but i'm looking for something a bit better.

I'm thinking of getting the ROCCAT Kave, to complete my Kone+, thoughts, ideas, reviews, Post them here(A).

Thanks.

I have the Steelseries 7H USB, pretty damn awesome :)

don't go for the gaming branded headsets .. there cheap flimsy and really not good tbh ... avoid steelseries, razer, roccat etc.... go for a make that actually make great sound products ... sennheiser.

I have fatal1ties, (hs 800) - they're really good, its just that the ear cups are a bit small so you get really itchy in them ;)

Will consider Senheisers.

Squeeking and static is most likely through poor sound card or most common using motherboard soundcard ... that type of stuff is generally not the headset it's self. If it is then its a faulty headset and can get replacement.

sorry i had to disagree, Asus Xonar D2X with most sennheiser (pc360 if you have money .. if not, sennheiser is still the way to go) = the biz :D

If you looking for sound quality you won't find anything like studio headphones. I suggest getting them and a desk mic.

However, I just bought a Tactic 3D Alpha (Sound Blaster) There quite good. :)

there both cup what you on about :/

and lan.. what? cupped means they go around your ears, do you mean open? where air goes in? then there both fine for lan, actually the air that goes into the pc360's makes for the better bass than the pc350's.

Planning on QS and i44. So you'd recommend the PC350s instead?

i'd recommend the pc360's if your gonna spend the money ... otherwise don't bother get a stand alone mic and any sennheiser .. if ur headset breaks you can replace cheaper than replacing a gaming headset.

PC350's have less bass compared the PC360's as the airflow design is much better for sound and as you know sub-woofers need air.

Just don't buy from gaming brands, they are flimsy, cheap sound... buy from professionals such as sennheiser.

Yeah, got some £80 Creatives 6 months back, already had to claim warranty twice on them. Never again. Looking at Sennheisers and Steelseries now.
