The war on drugs is bull****, cannabis will be legalized/decriminalised soon enough so it's just delaying the inevitable.

nah it wont m8 , they declassified it a little while ago but then reclassified it a short time later. personally i aint got a problem with cannabis as ive never seen a stoner walk up to someone thinking they hard like some people do on alcohol

Ive always thought cannabis was safer than alcohol but it varies from person to person.

Ive always used the argument "Give a drunk person a baseball bat and say a guy called your girlfriend a ****, then he will hit that person with the baseball bat. Do the same with a guy that is high on cannabis and the outcome would be very different"

As i say though, it varies from person to person. Not every drunk person will get aggressive and not every stoned person will be chilled out but from what ive personally seen growing up around cannabis and alcohol is that the drunk person is a higher risk due to them not having control over their actions.

As to health, both are bad for you in ways but cannabis has been proven to help certain people and in some states in the USA you can take it for medical reasons.

I dont personally smoke cannabis anymore but i would much rather be around a person taking cannabis than someone drinking alot.

From what i've experienced, it's "Don't do drugs, if you do, get help, if you get caught, get in trouble" which is bull**** but yeah lmao. I know plenty of people that go into classes blazed and they don't have much of a problem studying. Not advocating drugs, just think the way they're portrayed at the moment is such bull****.

The British schools are terrible at this. They teach you about different kind of drugs but they generalize them in the end saying they are all equally as bad.

Im 23 now so i havent been to school for years but that it what it was like when i was at school.

im 37 we never had anything like that when i was in school :/ this country just seems to sweep everything under the carpet so people experiment because they are curious.

Nail on the head.

Having been involved in both in the past and been around many people heavily into both. I find that people heavily involved in drink have lives fall apart and things around them collapse including relationships and family connections.

However I've had friends who have started smoking weed only to turn to harder drugs and destroy their lives financially and emotionally etc.

It's all about the people who take them and how they control themselves when under the influence of said substances.

That said I'd say I'd prefer to be around people taking cannabis than people drinking heavily.

mentioned schools generalising all drugs as bad, you are generalising all drugs as "being portrayed badly" there is a fine line between drugs like cannabis, then drugs like cocaine and even more so for heroin etc.

I'm saying the education in schools is terrible, granted Cocaine and Heroin are very bad, but this isn't being portrayed properly, i've always been told that all drugs are entirely bad for you.

I don't smoke, i drink in moderation and yet that is worse than occasional smoking of cannabis, yet education on drugs fails to define the difference ;s.
