Just gotten back into source in the past week or so and realised that even though it's a fairly plain game it's too much for my cereal box PC. (1 core wonder)
If anyone's selling a PC or parts of a PC let me know (minimum dual core ofc) or one that gets over 100 fps constant on every map w/o cfg.
I can pick it up from LAN in May so no P&P needed.

If nobody is selling one, or parts of one, are there any recommendations where I won't spend a **** load for one? (Got other habits to feed)

Don't really have a set budget mate, I just look at a figure and see if it appeals to me :/. Pretty bad mindset to use, but im a cheap bugger yet i NEED a new PC. This one is 7 years old. I'll take a look, cheers

On relation to my thread.. My PC can't run GO :'(

If I have any tips to give you about PC building, it's that it's better to wait until you have 5-600, than spend 100-200 on a cheap faster solution. On the opposite end of the spectrum, spending 1,200+ is ridiculous unless you have a lot of disposable income, and erring on the stupid side of future-proofing.

For value for money, aim for a nice middle point. Don't cheap out, don't go large.

And whatever you do, make sure anything you buy has a solid brand PSU, you don't want to cheap out on that only to have it short everything else in your computer some night.
