The game just seems slower in general ****

tried another usb?
tried another mouse?
what mouse ??
is it an optical mouse or a laser mouse, it could be down to your mouse mat. Do you have a steel / plastic mat or a cloth mat? laser mice don't work with steel / plastic mats properly i had the same problem. I had to buy a new mouse mat to fix it but until i did i used a piece of paper.
I had blur on, i dont use a mousemat, mx518
oh, the old mx518. Have had the same problem with my last 5 mx518s. The problem in my cases was the cord had a glitch or the usb stopped working properly
Anybody know why my fps drops when i look at smoke then?
AMD Quadcore
Radeon 3000 GFX
Turn HDR (High Dynamic Range?) off, I had the same problems.
That in response to the mouse or the lagg? :P
Use an FPS config, you have a terrible Graphics Card.
Yeah, gonna have to upgrade next opportunity I get :S.
I have an fps cfg, and I get about 80-100 fps, but then when I look at smoke it's like BAM, 30 FPS

Nothing you can really do about that to be honest. Used to happen with my old PC, and if I was in the smoke I would experience severe mouse lag and input delay.
So what's the best / "cheapest" thing to do? Just spent a few hundred on other stuff :P. I can't play with 100-30 fps drops
Priorities?
1.Other stufff
2.Gaming
I call a vote!
But ya do get some decent cards on there on the cheap

My college course requires a lot of **** on the computer, and some of it's intensive. Also, one of my main hobbies is playing games on the PC, so if I'm going to commit a good amount of my life to playing it (my choice) then I should at least make it worthwhile and enjoyable?
But thanks mate :)
Fixed it, got my old gfx in there, getting 300 fps with all settings on high :) good stuff
