So erm, I was wondering if anyone here has had this "error" of some sort I'm having right now. I'm not sure how to explain this but basically when I've played more than 3 games in css I start to get this on my screen http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/523781054748365751/ECF8D6D20182DC81847A8474DFD1A826BA582A66/

- This only happens when I'm playing counter strike source, no other game, just css.
- This never happens when I've just recently booted the computer and started the game, it only seems to happen when I've played over 2-3 hrs of css in one day.
- There is a way to make this disappear,that is if I fire in the game, it disappears, but only for a short period of time.

I'm a computer spastic, so I really have no idea what this is or what I can do to fix it, any tips or suggestions are really appreciated!

i had this problem around 4 years ago when i had an old crappy 5700le. I unscrewed the fan and cleared away all the dust so the fan could actually get some cold air to the card and it fixed. When was the last time you cleaned you're fans? i hoover mine every 3 months :D

Oh dear. Long long time since that has been done, I guess I'll give it a go, altough I have very little experience dealing with this kindof stuff :|. Much appreciated!

good tools to use, a tooth pick, an old tooth brush, a hoover :D

ps, make sure you touch a radiator before you touch you're gfx card, it removes static from you're body and static can damage the card.

Well now, I've cleaned the dust for the most part(everywhere), and it still happened to me today, not sure what to do next.

And my GPU heat is 92C, wich is pretty much..

Get a new graphics card gogo.
