Just want your honest opinion here, I have been with Multiplay for my war servers for a month now, all good so far but I am having this problem where it crashes randomly during mixes and sometimes ungl. I contacted multiplay via irc and they said It has something to do with my zblock like it is restarting it for no reason, my zblock is all up to date and I can't seem to find the problem.
Anyone else have this issue?
How often does it restart? They may do a standard restart of all their servers 'once' a day?
Thing is, I really don't know which I kind of hate because our team wants to get ungl games but we are afraid it will crash during it, like last time when that happend.
Verygames, YCN-Hosting, Dedizone, RTL-Servers. (Have had a server from each of them, not recommending from what others have told me)
If you're short on cash go with Dedizone or YCN-Hosting. Just don't use Multiplay.
Does most clans use verygames, because I just want a stable, very good reg server that wont crash

I haven't played source in months but from what I remember, most "big name" GSPs despite their reputation, do indeed have crap servers. Verygames was always rubbish for me. Funnily enough, 540Hosting & YCN despite being cheap always has decent servers for me. Probs coz they have less customers therefore don't over stack their own servers. When I worked for *************, as soon as they got more customers and started overloading servers to greater profit margins, it was noticeable that server quality did indeed degrade. Also try to ask what the physical specs of the server ur server will be running on. For example an i7 will run ur server better and smoother than a server that's a quad core running ur server. I've also found that 500fps Serv on an i7 is a smoother game server than 1000fps on quad core etc.
verygames, english or french server, either one is good, people tend to enjoy minor differences...

i use Verygames and have a Dedi from them - never have a problem with their servers good service nice pings - sometimes lack of reg probably becuase my aiming is crap

Right, I am now in the middle of Verygames and RTL-Servers and another one I am looking into. Most people keep recommending me dedizone.net but I do not have a paypal, which sucks for me badly.
VeryGames servers are your run of the mill good-ish servers. You won't have any problems with them, and with the amount of discounts they offer they're much better value than RTL.
As much as I like RTL servers, they're expensive (near enough 20 quid a month?) and have more issues than a lot of server hosts, such as random server lag/shutdowns like your multiplay one at the moment.
Paypal isn't hard to set up just so you know ;)

Should be fine to set up. You can set up paypal with visa-electron, solo, maestro or whatever other debit cards there are.
regardless of who you use as a server provider, having paypal is always helpful, so if you get a chance do look into setting it up :)
How long can you pay as a Paypal guest, is there a limit how long I can pay.
e.g. If I buy from dedizone without using PayPal, can i continue paying that way.

no different to any other game server, they're small they can handle the traffic :P
