ok lets see if anyone as any ideas of my pc problem at minute. i currently am running on my raptor drive using windows xp 64bit pro - that drive works still boots up, but as i tried to reformatt windows again on a new hard drive i bought, after so long the comp keeps shutting of and it wont let me carry on install of windows. i get no error msg,s or anything. i must admit though the pc as been doing random shut off more than what it used to do, and also lockups ingame on css. i am thinking maybe i have a power psu problem- weak psu or something, any suggestions on this please post below ??

I'm not sure but i think maybe post what components you have in your pc so when someone with a little more knowledge than me helps you they can see if its the actual components or not.

i am thinking it could be a votage drop from the power supply but what i cant understand is why would it not let me re install windows on a new drive and shuts down pc.but yet it runs with this windows already on my drive.ermmm strange. but i have had a lock up yesterday on css when ingame.

Your PC might be doing what mine does on a daily occasion, basically have you tried to enable in BIOS that your new hard drive is the primary hard drive, have you OC (Overclocked) your computer lately or recently? Try taking off the OC and try installing Windows on that hard drive. Good Luck fixing it.
