Ok. so i know a lot of thick people would of opened this thread. but anyways.

wondering if some of you 'Nerds' Can help me out.

This is something I can't personally give a full answer but many forums state that most mobo's support older cpus because both 1155, however looking at it, x79 doesn't state 1155 (says "Socket 2011") so I wouldn't buy that unless you can wait for the new cpu.

But like I said I'm not fully informed someone else might give a better answer.

Don't think it will work bro, have to look at 1155 cpu upgrade or buy mobo and wait for cpu to before building
