Universal Gaming League

Hey everyone,
Shads here, one of the quickscope writers and a regular visitor to the UNGL website.

As a lot of you are aware there is the upcoming UNGL Pro-League & Main League right around the corner, so myself and Tom "Gumpster" Gumbleton are looking for some dedicated writers to get on board!

~~ We aren't asking you to dedicate 4 hours of your life a day to this, we're just looking for you to write a couple of predictions a week about the upcoming matches and who you feel will play amazing, do awful etc..
~~ The good thing about this is that you can pretty much have whatever style you like, you can approach it from a completely formal and "professional" perspective, or you can just post anything that pops into your head! (Within reason)
~~ We aren't limiting you to predictions by any means (Although primarily this post is aimed at recruiting writers for that purpose mainly), you can pretty much do "whatever you want", within limits, and as long as you consult Gumpster first! ;)
~~ Being a writer for quickscope allows you to explore the CS scene in more detail, and get to explore both ends of the spectrum by covering "lower level games" or "higher level games" e.g. mTw vs VERYGAYS.
~~ However, you don't HAVE to do this by any means.
~~ You can add it to your online CV :>. (Helped me get a job believe it or not)

So that's about it guys!
Thanks for reading, if you have any questions or queries about this, or you want to dive right into being a quickscope writer, contact myself on steam (anc13n7s) or alternatively email Gumpster on ([email protected]).

Our only "requirements" for this is that you have good, clear English.
Quickscope for you could be a stepping stone onto bigger things :)

Once again,
Thanks,
Shads

UCAP.IS to win Div2 UCAP.Spire to win Div3 predication done sign me up, jokes goodluck - would help out but dealing with UCAP is enough for me :) always considered Quickscope a friendly partner of UCAP Gaming about time some people started trying to make it more popular. Good luck.

CSS is to much of an uncertain game for me at the moment, due to the fact that CS:GO is round the corner and i just wanna see what insomnia are going to be doing for i47, if not Copenhagen will hopefully keep CSS going.

i dont think its gonna be as straight forwards as people think, some gamers that are used to source really hating on it, newer gamers love it and think its the best game ever, i think its pretty decent few things need brushing up but as a game think it might grow, wether its another css only time with tell.

PS: they tried same thing with pro mod :D

In fairness the response of almost everyone I play with has been entirely positive with regards to CS:GO. Players love this genre and love the style and adrenaline that the CS series breed.

I'm inclined to say that this community is ready to move on - we recognize source was (and still is) bugged to death. Lets not end up being a whining 1.6 community eh?

whoa chill out m8 this is not cadred, is was mearly passing on my thoughts not having a go or educating anyone :D

We're all entitled to our own opinions. Personally, I dislike CS:GO and don't have current plans to move over, but that's just me..
:) Keep this **** on topic please <3

Someone should make Source: Promod on the CS:GO engine!

TIL a post that doesn't flame, insult and merely adds to conversation is something from cadred. Didn't have a go at you at all mate, merely voicing my own thoughts.

We're all happy chappies now, so let's all help Shads and Gumpster find some new and dedicated writers - yay. :)
