hi there, ive lost my windows 7 product key as ive reformatted now, does anyone have a apare key or know where i can get 1 from ? or would i have to purchase a new 1 from microsoft ?

i was going to pm you a site but they have gone out of business :/

dam yea they usually do, i tried fiding a serial keygenerator but cant seem to find 1 ...if i have to buy 1 from microsoft how much will it cost ya reckon ?

did your pc come with windows onit? or did ya slap it on yaself craig

there are also a few sites that sell windows 7 keys , if you use one make sure it uses paypal as the payment method so if it goes bad you can get your money back.

oh and dont pay more than £20 for one either ,if you decide to buy one.

yea okies thanks Trooper ill try this first see if will find it through registery, if not ill have buy a new 1 like you said...as i doubt i could use anyone elses as most will be registered wont they, so will only let 1 per pc. with xp64bit pro the older windows i had i could reformat on that loads without it locking me out..think i only had to activate by fone only the once with xp64 bit.

with windows 7 you can use the 32bit serial to activate it, and I did have a key which was re-usable but ran out of attempts :L. So if anyone has a 32bit key it'll work too!

i got the 32 bit version on original disk aswell as the 64 bit version,,but the key is used by my mate, and only got the 1 key for it...
