Looking to spend up to £250 on a new gfx card.

Been playing crysis 3 beta and current card which is ATI radeon 5770HD isn't cutting it. Runs smooth on medium settings at 1280x1680 but want to be able to play high settings possibly on 1980x1600

Suggestions please?

I've always had AMD and have just purchased a 7950 3GB earlier today. Thanks for the input though, much appreciated.

That's subjective imo,

I had bad experience with AMD Radeon cards (laptop and last PC)
random bluescreens when playing cs:go, dota2

updated Catalyst drivers, bios, reset them etc.. downgrading drivers, trust me I tried
everything,

(google BSOD + dota2 for ex; 80%+ are Radeon issues)

since I switched to a GTX670 never happend again.
