Hi all, come here as a last resort, I've been asked to look for tablets that our office can purchase.

Been looking for the past day for tablets, not many fit what we need, best I've found so far is a Dell XPS 12 foldable tablet, bit to chunky for what we want, so we're looking for other options.

-Windows 8 Pro, not RT, majority of the ones I have found are RT and or don't say which version they are.
-Be able to attach it to a keyboard dock(great if it comes with one).
-As it's going to be used for a lot of word a decent amount of drive space would be nice.
-It will be used for joining domains(rt cannot do this only pro) and other windows features.
-Pref an i5/i7, nothing like an Atom CPU, don't mind paying for the best.

Any suggestions would be great.

In a predicament like this my self. As a lead in emergency services we all need to have W8T devices now on helicopters/Acute care ambulanecs for patient information transfer. Dept. is looking @ Dell XPS12 Convertibles =/

there is a surface Pro with proper win8. Its the best you can get and companies absolutely love it. Actually many prefer them over ipad for work.

Surface with W8 Pro hasn't been released yet.

yup, but i do think it is gonna be soon, it has been ages now. Still the best one to buy though for sure.
