What must be Valves worst steam update (for me atleast) has just been released, as they have increased the font size from 14 to 16 which is massive for my taste.

Anyway, I found a fix on the steam forums so wanted to share if there is anybody out there that doesnt like it.

If you want to do it yourself, navigate to /Steam/Resource/Styles and edit the steam.styles file, change all the chat font size from 16 to 14. (guide)

If youre lazy you can download this already modified file and place it under /Steam/resource/styles. Keep in mind you have to rename it to steam.styles once you download.

 Phantom If you have some sort of a massive monitor/resolution the text would be pretty smaller for you than a guy with lower resolutions.

Which means you wouldn't notice much difference when getting that giant font size.

There was still a noticeable difference. So I'll repeat, it's not that big of a deal.
