Zealot Gaming (zG) has just recently expanded to support competitive gaming. Zealot Gaming was previously a purely casual community, but with the recent peak of interest in competitive gaming we decided to "branch out". This is a competitive team mentality system, designed to give competitive gamers a home without the usual zG requirements when it comes to casual community involvement. This new branch will be the new addition to our current departments, and competitive activity within zG will from now on, go through this department. Teams that have shown their potential while playing for Zealot Gaming will be able to apply for "Official Team" status, and request sponsoring for tournament sign-ups, servers, etc. More information on how to join as a team will be available later when the department is up and running.
Assistant Directors are general second-in-command aides to Clan Directors in their respective Departments. They act as leaders for any teams within their Departments and serve any and all duties assigned to them by their overseeing Clan Director, and while their primary duties are to their own Department their advice is sought and valued on all decisions that affect the clan as a whole.
The Zealot Gaming leadership is a very diverse and stable team, and we would love to see new additions to the family!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

[b]-[/b] Ensuring all teams are running smoothly and are active.

[b]-[/b] Establishing contact with free-agents and teams when needed.
[b]-[/b] Handling Divisional disputes and conflict when needed.
[b]-[/b] Working as administrative support for Official Teams.
We are looking for someone above the age of eighteen, for the general sense that an 18+ individual will have his/her daily routine and work management under control.

[b]Beginnings[/b]
Zealot Gaming is a multiplatform gaming community which offers clan-support for a variety of games in various genres. It was started in March of 2011 by two friends, DrMath (James) and Legit (Stan), to be a gaming-centric community focused on a providing friendly atmosphere, a sense of family, and a team passionate for gaming free, of the drama of bloated structures and politics that often comes with it. Zealot Gaming was to be an open community where everyone had a say, where nothing was kept from members. In order to help ensure this cause was realized, we have adopted the following mission statement.

The mission of Zealot Gaming is to provide and continually develop a fun and friendly gaming atmosphere for its members through creating a strong community setup, engaging members through activities and events, and providing more avenues to game with like-minded gamers. We aim to encourage respectful behavior from all members toward each other and non-members alike, and instill the core values of loyalty, integrity, and zeal in all of our members.

Zealot Gaming is growing daily, and with over a year of experience under its belt and over 400 active members ( a 75% increase from 2011) it promises to continue to grow. The clan has by now established itself as a home for gamers who will be loyal to its values and seek to embody them in their gaming experiences. The close bonds formed by our members speak for themselves, and speak to the quality and character of the community that has established itself here. The only question to ask yourself is will you become a part of its history?
