League of Legends is rapidly becoming a more popular game hence the reason HoN has now made their game free to try to rival it but I and many others fear it is too late for HoN to be doing this as LoL has pretty much dominated the gaming scene in that genre.

League of Legends had a massive impact on DreamHack, the tournament I am not sure but I think it was $100,000.. which as you can tell is ALOT of money. As the scene for this game as I stated above is rapidly improving I feel as though UNGL should consider designing a LoL league which in time may expand the size and popularity of this organisation.

Please users of UNGL and League of Legends can you please give some input to this thread and take your time reading and researching a bit about the game if you do not know about it.

I think this is a great idea for the UNGL community.

This has come up before in a previous thread. The primary concern was that UNGL is sponsored by ZOWIE & S2 to host our HoN cups which have large prize pots and attract professional teams and players.

As such it would not be plausible to have LoL here at UNGL, despite the immense support the community have shown for the game.

This has been mentioned plenty of times before and if i'm not mistaken, I think they stated they aren't/haven't been thinking about a league for LoL as they already have HoN.

I don't play these games so I personally don't know what the impacts would be, but if it's as big as dreamhack using it, maybe it's a game that could impact greatly for UNGL.

My view would to bring MW3 into UNGL when it's release but who knows.

Looking at recent update from LoL, the LoL community is far far bigger than the HoN community.
