Hey guys.

I've been assigned to do a promo video for UNGL about League of Legends, and I've come up with my first attempt:

- Changed the background music
- Added a logo in the right bottom corner
- Replaced some of the footage
- Implemented some footage of the website
- Made space for the Logo, however the logo is lowres. and I could use a bigger logo

Tell me what you think. Constructive critisism is much appreciated.

Needs a better choice of background music, also needs a lot more creativity than what it has now. Music + Random gameplay does not a promo make.

i like the Cassiopeia footage. but idk, you haven't put the logo in anywhere which sucks.

Mayb put some of the ungl website on showing the leagues and cups. But not bad fo first attempt :)

music is fine and was chosen by myself :P agree with blackeee maybe open up with the logo on full screen saying introducing the UNGL lol Ladders and cups

but on the positive not the footage is quite good

dude since u a css player u wouldnt realise that the music is a remix on the actually lol theme tune so do u research before trying to get abusive

umm its not too bad , need the logo in ther more im not a fan of the music but if thats LoL well wat can i say , maybe a little bit more ummm professn , but gl

maybe watch + cast a ungl cup final and show 1-2 epic scenes with voice and pick this into your promo ;S

thats the plan for future videos ;P

I don't think you understand? This thread is to see what people think about what hes done and tell him how he can improve it.. I am giving my personal opinion about the video, plus your reply isn't very admin-like.

no all u have done is slate it not offer constructive critiscm and your acting like your video making pros , and since u can give your personal opinion cant i or do admin take a vow not to do so when the become admin?

YES. You can give your personal opinion, but saying "The music is not good" is NOT contructive critisism. I need something I can continue building further, like "The music is not good, try using dubstep instead." If you don't give me a lead, I don't know where I should go next. And please guys, this assignment is for the UNGL community, so I think the community should agree with each other on this assignment. Everyone can't always have it their way.

That one is a bit better than the last one, showing the website and forums is a good idea. However the music choice is still pretty bad, why not just use one of the default LoL themes instead of a remix of one, or a random song.

Also, the clips are now very dark, and the colours in some parts look off.

Finally, try to smooth out the transitions between the parts with text and the parts with clips more.

much much better. i still dont like the music, it think it needs to be more dramatic and the colours are too dark. however its starting to look like a proper promo vid now! :)

The original far suits a promo video better than any of those remixes.

but but but the orignals is boring as f*** especially for most of the lol players that play lol quite a lot thats all they hear in game lobby and everywhere

That is correct, that I did not record the footage myself. I have my footage from Protatomonster on Youtube, who runs the Top 5 plays of the week.

Just to make it clear, I did not 'steal' anything from anyone.

this tracks are annoying maybe take some instrumentals from some good chart tracks :(

Yes. I asked him to send me some LoL replays that have been featured in some of the Top 5's.

Looks Basic to me and it doesnt even show all the games within the UNGL think you need to think about showing what the website actually does not just LoL. PM me if you want some help :)

well the videos is a lol based video to promote the lol cups and ladders so that would be why its lol based

Well the title wrong "UNGL Promo Video" and i have to say thats silly might aswell do a promo on every game imo i hope you didnt pay :P

lol no not payments are involved and im sure the enough teams and people to do a css promo if the others wanted but im looking a trying to get the lol ladders and cups as active as the css if u have any ideas of helping that then please pm them be much appreciated :)

when it say's league of legends at around 40sec~

Okay, so this has basically been a very ****ty week for me, because my computer had some problems, so it needed to be formatted in order to work properly.

I always keep my work safe, so nothing has been lost, but I need to reinstall all my programs again which may take some time. I'm going to work on another draft as soon as I'm ready again.

On the other hand: People were discussing the background music, and some were suggesting using the original LoL theme song. Anyone knows if it's copyrighted?

You'd be using LoL music while showing LoL gameplay on a video you won't be making any form of profit from.

I'm sure you'd be fine.
