When ever I try to run libra it says: "could not write the update - please run as Administrator and try again.". Even when I'm running it as an admin.
Libra 2 worked fine for me.

I'm running Windows 7 64Bit

AMD Phenom II 1090T x6 @ 4ghz
gtx 460 1GB
2x4GB 1600mhz DDR3

if it makes any change...

Also I'm running ESET smart security for an antivirus/firewall, doesn't help disabling it.

Try re-installing if all else fails you can always download more ram at http://www.downloadmoreram.com/

I tried to help, but best person would be paradox when he reads this, he'll say the same thing you just need to take your cpu out and plug your mouse into the socket and move the mousr around until you have cleaned it then restart pc.

Also make sure your toaster isn't connected to your graphics card, mine does that sometimes it's really annoying.

try uninstalling it running crapcleaner then reinstall as Admin. might be a registry problem
