Universal Gaming League

Hi,

I have just played a UNGL match with Libra running, installed fine and uploaded screenshots fine, but while playing my game froze every couple of minutes (like losing connection for a split second) and enemy player team models would randomly freeze in one place as the actual player would carry on running becoming invisible to me as I could only see where their model froze.

I know the model freezing is an occasional glitch with CSS since the new update but starting and stopping a demo record or restarting the game would normally solve this, with Libra running this was not the case. This mixed with the constant freezing made the whole match unplayable. I can’t believe there’s not more complaint about this on this forum.

Are there fixes for these problems? This will probably be my last UNGL match until it is fixed.

I’m running;
CPU: Intel i7 860 @ 3.81 GHz
RAM: 4GB DDR3 1600Mhz
Storage: 1TB Samsung Spinpoint F3
Graphics card(s): 1GB XFX HD 5850 Black Editon
Windows 7 as Standard User (Libra was install as admin)

yeh I did do that but it didnt work like it usually does, so i had to restart the game.. It was more the constant freezing that made it unplayable.

the bug is fixed normally :)
so I think the problem is libra.
I don\'t like the picture sounds and the picture in the left uppercorner
maybe I can turn it off?

Also, the player models were freezing in random places after they left spawn, as apposed to freezing at spawn (which is what I encountered after the update) which leads me to believe it was being caused by libra.

Paradox sent me a message today saying to try and set the Lebra proccess to Low priority. Seems to have helped but wont really know untill Iv done a full match with it.

Iv also turned off windows 7s aero (transparent) colour scheme as there seems to be compatibilty issues with this and Lebra.

Hopfully one or both of these things have fixed the problems, seems ok for now on our empty match server.

OK,

Its still freezing for 2-3 seconds every time it takes a screenshot! I have set the proccess of libra to low and CS to High, still CS freezes.

thanks Ryn, Iv just uninstalled and redownloaded and installed, still getting the same problem.. really can't think what it would be. My computers only under a year old and kept nice n clean from malware n such.

Setting Libra to run on a seprate CPU core from CS:S via Set Affinity in Task Manager and disabling Anti-Alaising seems to solve the issue.
