Yes, I've seen the bug list, but there isn't a fix or anything mentioned about it...
have you done all the usual stuff like made exceptions in your firewall and antivirus? run it as administrator set the affinity to one core (if using a multicore cpu)
re read through the above topic (the bug list) and try every fix mentioned. Just because your specific problem isnt mentioned , one of the fixes listed may sort it out.
