So, I have tried to change my desktop resolution to 1280x1024, which was recommended by phx, however, when I go ingame, it still screenshots my desktop, no matter what I do, I've tried every single desktop resolution that is at or above my ingame resolution (1280x960), but it still does not work.

I am running on Windows 8, which seems to be the issue here.

Can someone have a look into what is causing this and a possible solution, because it is not good I guess, to be playing games when it only screenshots your desktop.

Hey hey! It was only a suggestion to the former thread about this, no one said it was the ultimate solution.

The desktop taking issue is very common and sometimes works, sometimes it doesn't. It could be because of alot of things. Do you play with black bars? Have you tried disabling Aero on desktop and make sure it's on basic?

Have you tried having the same ingame resolution ingame and on desktop?

Anyhow, I tried having same ingame resolution as desktop, yes I am playing with black bars. I'll try to disable Aero when I get home today, and reply if it sorts it.
