Basically on css I used to use the ` key (the one under esc on a regular keyboard) to open/close the developer console, as far as I'm aware this was the default key. However on cs:go I have to have another button binded to open it (i'm using comma atm) and then to use ` to close it. Any ideas how I can have it how it was in css? I can't bind ` to toggle console in the keyboard options for some reason.

Have you tried putting bind "`" "toggleconsole" in your config?

at the moment I'm not using an autoexec, are they exactly the same as in css to setup?

i had that m8 but i had an update and now it works

sorted by creating an autoexec for csgo and putting the command
