I like the new crosshair style, however it seems that no matter what colour I use it's almost invisible when looking at the brightest parts of maps (eg dusty walls on d2 where the sun is shining). I use full ingame brightness which no doubt contributes to this, however I like to have the map as bright as possible for maximum visability.Basically is there a way of making the DEFAULT crosshair more visible?

Thanks :)

EDIT: I just noticed that I'm actually using the LOWEST ingame brightness possible, meaning that the map is the darkest it can be, for some reason in the video options as you 'increase' the brightness (increasing the number) the screen actually gets darker :L

Try a custom colour, as i use red and can see it perfectly fine

cl_crosshairalpha "200"
cl_crosshaircolor "0"
cl_crosshaircolor_b "255"
cl_crosshaircolor_g "255"
cl_crosshaircolor_r "255"
cl_crosshairdot "1"
cl_crosshairscale "150"
cl_crosshairsize "2"
cl_crosshairthickness "0.5"
cl_crosshairusealpha "1"

these are some commands from the cfg i use it gives a small red crosshair , if you dont want the center dot just change cl_crosshairdot to 0

i should say that you need to have the options set to classic static for these to work :)

Deep Purple, really good colour to use for the brighter maps, also works well in dark areas like tunnels

Wait are these commands etc for the DEFAULT crosshair for CSGO, as in the new one? I thought those were meant for the classic crosshairs

they are for the classic , i still haven't found anything that will change the default crosshair yet. I am still looking :)
