In which mIRC channel you guys find matches for ungl?

they actually put 1 out this afternoon, but no one accepted. i did pm him sayin if i can get 5 together we will play em lol

Sparky, we already putted a match out this afternoon.

Maybe you can check Clanbase.com and build a system like that for matches, so you can challange team directly and setup a mIRC channel so people can find eachother.

And im not hating at all but it looks kinda dead.
Anyway i will support you guys!

It is not like it is a new idea though is it? I mean from all i have heard Shadow is developing a new site, so maybe sit tight and wait for that?
Direct challenges does not mean they will accept any more than Open Challenges

Surely if people are looking for games on UNGL, they'd come to the UNGL website and put out/accept a challenge. Rather than joining a UNGL mIRC channel, only to still need to go to the website and put out/accept a challenge.

I'd rather go to a mIRC channel and search for an opponent who wants to play against my team and challange them immediately on their team page.
So i dont have to wait till someone accepted my challenge.

The whole problem in your suggestion is that you're basing it on directly challenging a team's profile, something which you cannot do on UNGL.

Building a system involving IRC wouldn't be a bad idea, however it'd be a mediocre solution to a very small problem, which wouldn't be great in the long term, especially considering a new website is in the making with a lot of improvements to a lot things, finding matches included.

The problem with setting up a UNGL IRC channel would be that I doubt the majority of people registered on the website and capable of organising games would actually log onto IRC as well as the website to sort it out. In my experience people come onto the website to find games, rather than go to IRC then to the website.

HOWEVER, if you find you do use IRC. Message me for you ZNC accounts!
