I dont get it but with Most if not every CS:GO recruitment post there is looking for a new member they are looking for 18+ Mature. im sure Mature is all you need age means nothing , and does mean something But im still a beast #YOLO

Other reasons include:
1) Can't play tonight have school tomorrow.
2) Can't play tonight have detention.
3) Can't play tonight have homework.
That and younger players are incredibly childish, immature, take criticism badly, prone to throwing strops and are just generally not pleasant to be around when you've spent so much time with more mature players.
I'm sure exceptions exist. Haven't met one yet though.

Also for LANs it's easier if everyone is 18.

Never seen anyone refuse service to a guy in a wheelchair before m8. Discrimination etc.
1) If the team is going to lan it's a lot better for all members to be 18+ (drinking), and easier for everyone to get there (so less chance of the kid dodging lan)
2) An under 18 is more likely to have a fking annoying voice
3) May be mature generally but more likely to get upset after losing a couple of games and leave the team.
4) Most people playing competitively are 18+, a team of 25 year olds are bound to find it uncomfortable playing with a 16 year old
Doesn't mean under 18s will have the characteristics I mentioned above, but that's the reason people ask for >18
