From past experience getting to LAN is a massive anticlimax when you sit down and have nothing to do (CS WISE) and no one to PCW and my team often end up wondering off and getting a drink. I don't like this, I don't come to LAN to drink at 11am.
I've experienced trying to talk to some of the 'elite' teams at LANs and they have no interest in PCWing OR EVEN ENTERTAINING THE THOUGHT OF A CONVERSATION with anyone not dressed head to toe in sponsors attire who hasn't done their fair share of clan hopping amongst the 'special UK teams' (admittedly limited exp. don't mean to alienate anyone). But IMO this isn't the mentality that our scene should follow - its whats been wrong with us (UK) for years.
I know we are all competing for the same prize on the same tournament etc but it would be nice to know which teams would like to PCW while there and have a bit of banter etc.
37 signups - I didn't know there were so many British teams, albeit im sure there are a fair share of mixes going but I'd like to set up some sort of community PCW scene amongst trusted (LANNED) UK teams and maybe this can be the start of it?
If you feel the same way msg me and I will add you to a steam group (just the CLs please). I also propose we swap numbers (in prep for lan) and start a whatsapp group. Your level of involvement is up to you...
