We've been planning a 'money' tournament at Team Memento for a while, however to attract some real stuff, I'd want at least 100 quid prize money to be fair.
32 teams, tenner per team (2 quid per player), so thats 320 quid overall, stick 250 quid prize money to the winning team, keep 70 quid for Memento (to be used on lan shirts, shipping, etc). 250 quid prize money though... using xray or libra? Can't see it happening :/ Even EAC... cant see it happening. Plus, should a cup like this be made, in all honesty I see it most likely filling up with invite teams - vg, mtw, ckras, crg, eyes on you, that sort of thing. To be fair... I cant even see the likes of them teams playing for 250 quid...

. Not only would it be a waste of money for your team to enter... but if you were to join a 'money oriented' cup, it would either have to be like a 64/128 team one where you would lose your money anyways, or it would be for a small and not so noticeable winning margin. 50quid perhaps.

Like, to be fair, 128 teams would be sick. A tenner a team, 1280 quid. Put 1000 quid up for grabs, keep 280 for ungl, or your pocket or whatever. With 1000 quid at stake, you'll get top teams like Verygames, ckras and what not playing. Believe me. The cheaters will just run off because they won't win... Imagine some random german kids simply smashing verygames or something... i'm sure you admisn will detect something fishy.

if we ever have the funding could always use the money for the invite cup, so these so called big teams would have to work there way through the ladder an cup events to get a top 8 place to get a place in the cup. So the loyal teams we have here wouldnt feel hard done by as they have worked there way up the rankings and deserve there chance at the prize fund.

£10 pound per team direct into a UNGL paypal account or something - 30 to 40 teams an £250 prize fund for the winners, or something similar to that

if we do some decent advertisement we might have a chance, as a back up we could knock it down to a 16 to 20, but we do get 32 teams for cups atm with no prize fund, it will cost a player 2 pound to play unless there team leaders will pay the entry fee

32 teams, 10 quid a team = 2 quid per player, winner takes 250 quid, ungl keep 70, done and dusted. Announce the cup 1 or 2 months beforehand, make sure everything gets cleared etc, create a ungl paypal account, every1 pays there and states to admins which are their emails etc, done. gl hf

I like the idea but i think that should be with a kind of a GROUP STAGE to get the better teams .
