Hello, I was wondering what people would think about running a UNGL branded public server, for use by the community, and run by the community.

I own a Dedigames account that allows me to host as many servers as I want, up to 60 slot each.

I would be happy to host a public server running any maps, standard or custom, that the users here vote for. I can set up a large slot server, with any add-ons running people would like. and a simple or complex administrative system.

Would admins and other users be interested in this? as it is something I can offer for the community for free.

All response and thoughts would be greatly appreciated

A responsible admin would not need many features aside from kick, mute and ban. Mani admin will provide all of these features though. Can be installed easily. Any irresponsible admins can be removed from the admin rota instantly.

Voteban and other such options can also be added, however this is a feature that is often abused when large groups are in together.

Rank, stats etc can all be done, AWP limitation to 2 per team, and 2 per team Auto, can also limity weapons if there are less than X number of people on as well.

Just waiting for Paradox to give the go ahead etc. seem to have some support from members here, hopefully can become a well used pub server.
