if it was a JPEG compression problem i guess the colors that we could see in the image would be red and blue, since there the colors that make purple... not red and green. and the shape is really awkward. It could be the gui, with other crosshair and it can be almost impossible to see in game, but with the JPEG file since there is a kind of color limit to the quality of the images it can be seen.

And since the gamer posted here, i guess cheating is not the awnser.

He doesn't cheat, he asked me on steam why it does it yesterday. Plus if he was cheating, why would he make a post about it? xD

Does image quality really make an interesting thread? no, pretty pointless.

plenty of greens going on in the surrounding area's but that doesn't change the fact that image quality doesn't just displace the primary colours which make up the secondary colour.

Also RGB is additive while you are thinking of Subtractive colouring format (mixing paints together) which green is a primary colour for many things and also any other secoundry colour on there would also if your theory of displacing colours from the secondary colour would include green as it's one of the primary colours in RGB, but that's not the case.

try to delete CSS and install it again, without GUI's or things like that... Since it is allways the same shape, and
 Gabe Newell
got it right about the colours, it can be the quality of the JPEG Compression that shows something that you can't see in-game with your eyes.

Please admin just close this pointless thread, you want probably the main reason for this?

Web hosting cost money, More storage equals more cost for the hosting, higher quality jpeg images means more space taken up. With the amount of images uploading to the server to not just save space but also for quicker uploads and also less lag taking these screenshot while your playing, it saves paradox & co money. Having lower quality screenshot like this have so many pro's and the only con? not high quality images.

Please close this thread.
