hey all, so recently we have been playing a few ladder matches , using the match planner etc but we only seem to get accepted by top 20- top 30 teams.

we are a low team who are learning , i keep stating that we would like lower skilled opposition to play against but we only get high teams accepting and natrually we get hammered every time (tbh its a little off putting).

is there no way a skill factor can be added to matches or a handicap system ?
so mid plays mid low plays low etc ?
lets face it a high team who plays against a low team is a little unfair.

currently UNGL beta is being worked upon, where features like this may be implemented.

As I do not know too much about it and am not sure what I can say, I will leave it at that. But I think you have hit a valid point

Yes i can see that it can be a bit dishearting m8 , but tbh we just played you and you were great people and took the game well and i did not hear one moan wat so ever. + rep :)
great team and people imo,need more players / teams like urselfs tbh rather than moaners :P

Be pointless to implement like a cap on skill (rank on board) because you could hit a point in the rank which will never get games because maybe no active teams inside your rank level... and challenging teams, yes could be good if you set one up etc with teams you know but just challenging teams would make things slow, you can only get games if the teams you challenge are accepted, and if you post multiple out at same time to different teams then both get accepted can cause a lot of problems... open challenges seems the best option with maybe a side option to challenge teams but it's hard to make it friendlier without quite big repercussions.

2) Go to http://www.bashme.eu --> Choose CS:S --> Choose 5on5 --> Advertise 5on5 low on --> Play, improve & come back and kick ass :D
3) Download mIRC --> Connect to Quakenet --> Channel #5on5.css --> Advertise 5on5 low on --> Play, improve & come back and kick ass :D

Look at my teams streak of games. we've improved a lot playing here and are much better players since coming here.

I know our streak of losses looks bad, but we have a good time here.

My point exactly m8 . they seemed like nice bunch of people when we played them and thats wat its about aint it and less u getting super keen beans "cough" flybikes "cough" ;)

I agree that the current ladder challenger is not very fair specially to newly formed teams. Will you be able to challenge specific teams in the new ungl beta? It could get a bit frustrating if you had to play the same team a few times with this current challenger.

What if they are not better and you still have to play them more than twice when you would like a better challenge? As you said the only way to improve is to play better teams lol

Yeh thats true But then ur in affect keeping the chain alive :) becasue u becomes the stronger team teaching the lower skilled team a few things :)

i was thinking of maybe having a league for each level of skill -low-mid-high. kinda like the premiership, championship and league 1 in the beautiful game (Aston villa ftw).

lets face it there are enough teams on here enough for around 60 teams per league. A season could run for around 3 months then the top teams go up a league the bottom teams go down, points reset start new season.

nope i don't think so , the Radical rooster community was formed around November 2010, as far as I'm aware.

but i only joined them in December of 2010 so i couldn't say before that.

dazzy i remember bignades at i36. Made me chuckle slightly when you posted the result on your page. Good times and as dazzy says people always improve takes getting slapped a bit to do so though.

Should take the fact good teams accept your games as a chance to rob some strats from the source tv demos you will then have access to
