so i have this really annoying problem, both with css and css beta, when i get flashed or run into a smoke grenade, i just lag to ****, my ping goes to about 500 and its unlpayable. ive tried re installing, game cache files etc and nothing -.- ive tried this too,
* Open regedit
* Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionMultimediaSystemProfile
* There will be an entry for network performance throttling, default value is 10; set it to FFFFFFFF hex (will look like 0xFFFFFFFF to the right of the entry)
* Reboot

still nothing, but ive only just noticed i get fps drop when this happens ( run into smoke) could this be something to do with it?
it doesnt happen on lan servers but my fps does drop
help me please :((

In the NVIDIA control panel change the value of 'Maximum pre-rendered frames' and enable the graphics card to use the CP's Advanced 3D Settings.

Had the same problem a while back, fiddling with settings fixed it for me.

I had the exact same problem, fps drop when flashed or near smoke, turned off vertical sync in nvidia panel and that fixed the problem for me.

Good for you editing your post before i got screenshot where you insult me.

What am I doing wrong actually? No one recommended turning off vertical sync, that's what fixed my problem, just giving my opinion.
