Hi guise.

Just posting up about a map that has just been released: de_qaria

I've been involved in the testing of it and can say it's really really good.

Open roofs for flashes and smokes, multiple entries to bombsites, spammable walls etc.

has been changed extensively from the original version for balancing and timings, so hopefully the map should be very balanced.

Download it, give it a run around, gather on it etc.

This map is awesome :D

It's ridiculously well optimized. We played many gathers on it and they always seemed to be close no matter what side you started on.

The map is complete, i don't think the screenshots do it justice tbh.
Download it and have a run about to have a full look at it.

The name just makes me think of that bad tune, "this is the dawning of the age of aquaria!" I dislike bad tunes =[

Thanks for your input DazzyJ ;) .

Yeah i did think the door could possibly cause a problem.
I think it might be the dx level causing that white texture as i haven't has the prob myself and not checked it on the lower dx levels tbh.

I would adjust it for competitive play ( adjust doors to make them more obvious, they are open or could be opened and layout to a degree )

Any pointers on the layout adjustments/examples would be appreciated, i built it with the thought of good rotation options but maybe i put in to many which also makes alot of check points as you pointed out.
