wondering if someone can help me out for asecond one of my players seems to lag when looking at him playing but he telling me he's game is running smoothly nice pings etc. any idea's as he has had loads of complaints regarding it. but he says everything is fine for him.
baffled by it tbh, weve tried re-installing css , steam etc and nothing seems to work any one got any ida's

how is he connected? wireless or wired?
my connection ddid the same thing while i was connected directly to the router, so i switched to wireless and not had any problems since.
is he running an auto cfg? is there any chance that he is running the game an awful lot faster than the other players ?
check rates, the best usually is 20000 66 66.
and wouldnt a reinstall remove the autocfg anyway? if it doesnt then yea, remove it
Maybe hes got a bit of packet loss, 1 packet loss is enough to make you skip about the map but for the player it wouldnt be noticeable.
any packet loss is usually noticeable for the player, it sends packets fine but doesn't receive them back, so it doesn't update properly between the client/server.
virgins good depending on your area. i'm on virgin and i dont have any problems :<
Virgin is good if you haven't got any problems in your area. I've had up to 50 packet loss in the past 3 months constantly which makes it so hard to play Css but lately I've had 5 at most which is great even though not perfect.
im on virgin my self and i know he is as well. he deleted all he's config upon re-install but i believe hes near pompey area and hes on virgin i originally thought it might be the isp as i was having similar issues but im on wireless now and its ****
