i have been using the same config for ages now, but i have messed with it allot and it keeps getting worse and worse xD

can anyone please recommend a good config. it doesnt have to be a FPS config just a good one

gotta say either RegnaM's or shoxie's are pretty good

angeldust.cfg for smoke kills. ;)

shoxies boosted my fps by 300 defiantly worth a look

Any generic config will do fine, most of them have exactly the same settings give or take a few.

Test some commands from other configs and see if you notice any difference. This way you learn what your commands in your config actually do and your config is your very own and personal.

when using ur config i get like a blurry fog when looking long distances any ideas?
example; t-side of mid on season looking over to ct side of mid and ct side looks not clear and was b4 i used ur config but i dont wana remove as it feels very smooth.

try r_pixelfog 0 or 1 for dxlevel 81

I do not have this myself.

Try (as already mentioned earlyer) r_pixelfog 1 or 0 (read in config when to use 1 or 2 depending on dxlevel)

If that aint helping lower down the brightness (since all is set to max brightness for epic vieuw in the dark!)

It's the resolution you're using, I've had it with a few cfg's now using different resolutions from the cfg users. I think the fog helps as if you look at it with a ct or t model in the fog, they actually stand out a lot more =]

I'ts the only thing that I can think of that gets rid of the fog, with my config now if I use a lower res, I get the fog, on my res now I don't get it, no other settings are changed when I change res, not that I know of anyway :)
