wopuld like to know why wapps is banned? fair enough mute the noob for spamming **** on forums etc but to ban him for a week affecting our team games affecting our chances in the league when we dont have anyone else to replace him is a bit too far....

admins are far to eager to ban everyone. just like flybikes, wapps is a nice kids and and assset to the league with his skilll and activeness.

yes walker, it is pathetic. no real harm is ever done online through a website and flybikes has apologised so many times for his minor mistake of entering the wrong score unknown to him this was 'match fixing'. the other team Term and Que are actually good friends of ours through source and admitted they were equally responsible for accepting the false score, but in terms of points and ladder positions it made absolutely no difference. i assure had fflybikes known this was unnaceptable he would never have done it. he does regret it and he is sorry. :/
as for wapps, bypassing a gag to contact ignorant admins is fair in my book, although bypassing a gag just to use the forums or chatbox is unnacceptable. you would not believe how impossible it is for the aforementioned banned friend of mine to even get 1 word out, or even a fair response.
I hope the admins will listen to what im saying because it is logical it is fair and we just want to playyyyy guys.....

He was given warnings. That's there chance and they try and abuse it. That's why they get banned. For the people who don't understand. [b]People who try and bypass gags will be banned[/b] It's pretty easy to understand isn't it.
If they really want to play in this league they should follow our rules. If not they can go elsewhere to play their games.

i understand this chaddy, perhaps he was in the wrong but the acceptance of his mistake and the number of genuine apologies would warrant another chance i think. how about that email address bro? :)

Ahh yes I will get it for you now mate. I understand peoples frustrations on their teammates getting banned but they are given warnings and they still break the rules which lead to bans. Just for the future maybe everyone needs to speak to their team mates about behaviour etc if they enjoy playing here everyone need to make sure each other follows the rules. Then we are all happy families!

a weeks gag for trying to inject humour into a thread that had began to be a flame war between some members of the community is rediculous, and that there is no where in the rules that states that posting off topic will result in any sort of punishment? and that gagging someone for a week who helps to build the community through volunteer work in writing articles and helpping in other topics on the forums with peoples problems is just stupid and only damages the ungl community.
i gotta be honest i have always received a warning from admins before action has been taken , its usually my fault for being gagged either i wont let something go or i have broken a site rule. I have had a few arguments with a couple of admins on here but i still have respect for them all and i do believe they do a good job.
as far as the ban for bypassing a gag, i think a perm ban is a little harsh but a temp ban for the duration of the original gag is a fair outcome.
May i just clear this up.

. After about 20+ pm's he goes on to make a new account after he had been told that the gag was only for week. So to be honest he knew what he was doing and it was his fault only.

yeah i know i was out of order , and tbh after i calmed down i was glad not to have been banned :) and isnt it strange that the two admins i have fallen out with the most are the only two admins i have on steam :)

it actually amazes me how much time some people spend on this website, i work from home and as an admin i allways have it minimised and check every so often but i see the same names on here no matter what time of day it is in some cases. I truly admire their loyalty.

Wapps was banned due to a bypass of the 'Gag system'. This will not be changed, the ruling is final. This is how UNGL has worked and will continue to work as it is a very effective system that we operate. Finally, Should you think that admins are to fast to ban someone or something, please contact the respective superior in that case and it can be discussed internally.
I am now locking this thread as it clears up the initial purpose and will only end in flame. I suggest not creating another one of its kind.
