Now I have a new pc i'm looking for a better config so I can play with higher settings so the game looks nicer etc.

Could anyone point me in the right direction.

with my new pc ive did a mix of my own with 3k2's config and shoxies and get 700 - 950 fps :)

ahh theres a story behind the 900 fps :) basically i've got the decent gpu and cpu but shes got the decent mobo so one day we swapped various bits about and hit a solid 800-900 on css with no config. but she wouldnt let me have her mobo and i wouldnt part with either my gpu or cpu so we both sit at around 200-300 instead. selfish woman

Why play low settings if you have the pc to play on high settings. might as well play 1.6

its all down to personal preference, but i dont like all the shiny stuff in css , and the bright lighting etc i find it off putting.

or its down to competitive advantage....... pretty sure u cant see under the pit truck on inferno with high graphics? or am i wrong? havent played on high graphics for years

i play on high everything and i cant see there, i also cant see through cement bags on nana and a few places on de_train.
