Hello there I recently got lagg in smokes and things randomly but that has stopped.

Now I have the troublesome of stupid freeze spikes... My game just freezes for like 1 split second like 2/3 times a round...

Anyone know any fixes or anything?

Don't suggest "New PC" As I get a consistant 299 with FPS Capped at 300, plus uncapped around 1000.

i use to have this years ago but i always thought it was due to my ISP becuase once i changed my ISP it never happened again

but times can change

Yeah I'm not sure, as this ISP is new, like one or two months old. So I presume it to be good. :)

try geting a better computer then using a laptop :)

Using a laptop? I'm using a desktop my friend.

Multicore rendering? I have that enabled to increase my FPS. I use it, because I have a quad core.

i use to get it, i changed nothing and after a few weeks / months suddenly it stopped, then it would start again for a while then stop but i never changed anything so not sure :p

I'd go with a re installation of source using default features and commands. Maybe that might help if not grab your old cfg and 'wallah!'.. try something else :D

try verifying game cache/defragmenting, and try running source with default config (disable steam cloud sync in css options>multiplayer>advanced, close game, put -autoconfig in launch options, delete cfg folder in cstrike, launch game, close game, remove launch option)

Also make sure there aren't any weird processes running on your PC that could spike CPU usage/internet usage.

Other than that I can only assume it to be a router/internet problem
