EDIT: Thank you to everyone who got in touch. We've made our decision and accepted two people into the team. I'll leave the thread below the way it was, but we are no longer looking for extra players.
RedCell Gaming is a multi-gaming clan established 1995, currently looking to branch into CS:GO. We're a semi-serious team, looking to play competitively, but we won't demand that you play all day every day. Our focus is on steady yet constant long-term improvement, individually and as a unity, with the ultimate aim of participating in future leagues and ladders, and possibly even LAN events.
We currently need two more players to complete our line-up. An overview of the kind of player we're looking for:
- 18+ European with mid to mid+ skill, ideally with good ping to UK/German/Dutch/Scandinavian servers
- Specific country doesn't matter, but good English language skills and microphone discipline are essential
- Available to train three to four times a week and serious about improving both individually and as a team
- Willing to give constructive feedback to your teammates; the patience to work with them on their weaknesses
- Willing to get into the strategical nitty-gritty: watching and analysing demos, training strats until perfection, etc.
- Good attitude: mature, does not ****-talk or "troll" the opponents or teammates, respects the strat caller, etc.
- No specific role or skillset is necessary, but we are currently in need of a dedicated AWPer
- Being in it for the long run. The dedication and loyalty to your teammates not to jump ship at the first sign of opposition or opportunity elsewhere.
If you think you'd be a good fit but worry that you're not the most skilled CS:GO player, please feel free to hit us up anyway. If the chemistry is right, we're willing to work with you to improve: our goals are long-term, not short-term.
Likewise, if you're expecting us to come out and immediately kick ass, or if you're overly concerned with scrim records, please consider looking elsewhere. Our sights are set quite high, but we'd rather do things right from the beginning and take our time getting there.
If you think you'd be a good fit and would like to play with us, but worry that you don't have the time to train regularly, please feel free to hit us up anyway. We could always use a stand-in in case anyone is sick or otherwise unavailable.
TeamSpeak and 128-tick game servers are provided. If you're interested, please contact in-game leader Theory on Steam: http://steamcommunity.com/id/Theory14
