it was a 16 slot cup, and there was over 16 teams signed up, i'm sorry your team didnt make it, but some teams arent going to be able to play

Yet its just a coincidence that every team with an admin got picked and every team who have played in a ungl cup before got picked.. Ok.

And its a very intelligent way to do a cup.. hmm lets limit it to 16 spaces, but make it so more than 16 teams can sign up. Seems like you defiantly designed the format of the cup.
