on a side note to the gather channel, the uk scene is lacking in fun public communitys that attend lans for fun and in general fill up spaces, so i'm looking to start up a community with anyone that's interested.

may sound like im trying to get a freebie by asking people to help out with funds - but as im not on a full time wage i'd like someone to help me fund it if you really have an interest in helping the csgo uk community, and someone to help me run it, so give me a shout if anyone is interested, i'm obviously not expecting you guys to pay all of it, but split the funds down the line 50/50 or 33/33/33, you get the idea!

Sorry! You sound keen and dedicated. Hope you find funds to get what you need, though. But I don't want to see **** sites like Cadred.org and people who spill crap all day long. To be fair - and you all know this - people from UK are famous for being the biggest nuisance of eSports with their aristocratic and sometimes childish attitude. You don't want to create that in a new game. You want to purge it.

I don't see where he said anything about being nuisances, it might not be of interest to you, but it probably is to the majority of casual players or people who are new to the scene that want to have fun and gain some LAN and competitive experience.

Dan, I'll buy this idea of you, that way I can make sure you never start a "community" (laughable).

So you're basically looking for people to go to LAN and stoned out their nuts with you? That's not called a CSGO community it's called a a drug ring.

You have a job, don't spend money on weed and you can easily fund servers/website. Also be ready to put some effort in (which you don't like).

I play with one semi known and successful team in Scandinavia. Still idling the top channels. And as I said earlier, haters will always exist. And people like him cannot be found on pages such as Fragbite, HLTV, ArctivNova or anything. He is found on Cadred and sadly here as well. Of all the British pages I've visited - this one is my favorite one. And he is one of many other perfect and practical examples of the typical UK. Online or not. Behavior of that kind just makes me sad.

The vast majority of HLTV commenters are worse than cadred lot, a lot worse. They're delusional and will flame anyone for anything, why are you making stuff up? And you've done nothing for the scene, whereas Anto has, what right does that give you to give him grief? Oh yes, thats right, he's from the UK, that must mean he acts like a prick. People like you are detrimental to the scene.

LoL, the UK is known as the most childish when it comes to the cyber w4rf4r3. Played since Quake, we've had a terrible reputation since the start of online gaming really.

And every game I play I like to cement that reputation a little bit more.

And yet some people tend to forget the UK has produced community leaders and people who are genuinely out there to help the scene, my biggest point in hand would be Adam "Damage" Parkins, or Anthony "Davros" Macey, or even Tony "Gom8z" Oldfield. There have also been other people like Darren "Yakkkkk" Ball who are all "British" and have all been supporting the CS scene over the years. There are many others who I have spoken to over the years at different UK LANs, and have enjoyed being in their presence because of how sound they actually are.

Of course you get your ritch gibbs types in every country, not exclusively in the UK.
